He explained everything in a logical manner and was also open and cognizant of how insurance covered( or didn't cover) certain procedures, which I greatly appreciated, instead of being surprised later with a bill when things weren't covered. “I am currently on the sub-acute care floor at Samaritan home. I have been here for a couple of weeks and will be for a week or so more. As a former administrator in a social service field, I have been interested in observing the staff interaction with the residents. I judge about 90% to 95% of the staff want to be here and work with this population. This includes both long-term staff (+25 years) and more recent hires. The staff interact easily with residents on the wing I am on. It happens that the area I am in is somewhat a mixed nursing home/Sub-acute rehabilitation floor. Very simply, I attribute the good staff morale and thus their very easy, yet professional, interaction with residents with proper administrative management. I have concluded that this is true quality and I am pleased to have selected this facility for the services I need.”

“Dr. BLOMMEL was my husband's primary physician who coordinated his care among several specialists. He always listened to my husband's concerns and made changes in accordance whenever possible. I was impressed with the amount of time he spent with him, never feeling rushed and getting all questions answered. My husband really liked him and was willing to follow his suggestions. He is a great doctor to have for someone with a chronic condition which is never going to go away. At a time when it feels that many doctors are closely timing patients' visits, this is a great ability to have.”
