“Best BBQ in the City of Milwaukee. The brisket and pulled pork are fantastic. The ribs sell out so quickly that you need to get there early on the weekends. Sides are typical fare for BBQ shops but made with more flavor. The sauces are just OK but I rarely want to use them since the meat is so juicy. They butcher their own hogs there and really provide great cuts of meat. You actually get a lot if food for the amount you pay, unlike many other small BBQ places in the city. Eating here is messy. . .”

“Excellent food and service. Can't wait to go back again and try something else. We ate pizza which had a wonderfully tender crust, beef filled Ravioli with their flavorful signature sauce and garlic bread which was crispy on the outside, but soft and tender on the inside. Excellent & tasty food. Too bad we didn't have room for dessert!”

“It has a really nice fancy old school German atmosphere with wood paneling and heavy wood tables. The beer selection is decent, you should be able to find something you like. Full bar with other things as well. The food was good, we had lobster mac and cheese and rolled deep fried cheese sticks with wonton wrappers. Both dishes were really tasty and the generous portions. Service was good.”

“This place is located down the street from Dollar General on Howell Avenue. I’ve driven by the building and I have seen many restaurants open here but I’ve never gone in until today. It has a nice low-key laid-back atmosphere, I ordered an iced coffee drink which was good. If you want to avoid the crowds at Collectivo and avoid crowds downtown or Bay view, this place is for you because more quiet area. I hope they are able to stay here longer than other restaurants have at this location, but they will need to do more with the outside of the building to draw attention.”

“Went here Friday afternoon for lunch with my son had the jumbo double cheeseburger and fries. Cheeseburger was huge and square Patty had fried and raw onions. The place opens at 11am and is cash only. You walk up to the window and order your food. The place reminds me of the old school charm remember as a kid. Paid $8.50 for jumbo double cheeseburger. I would go back again.”

“They were very accommodating for our walk in party of 8. The female server we had was and her service were great and the menu had an amazing selection. Everyone picked something different and we were all stuffed!! The veggie burger was a big hit and so were the onion straws with ranch. I'd love to go back again if I'm ever hungry again (that won't be for sometime). Thanks for an enjoyable evening!!”
