“Ladies, if you're in a jam and in the Lake Mills area, Topel's is the place to stop for help. I found myself hundreds of miles from my destination with a bolt in my driver's side rear tire. I called a friend who directed me to Topel's Towing and Service. Tara came out to the vehicle with me, took a look and got me squared away much faster than I ever expected. Fairly priced, clean, honest, and most importantly kind. As a woman, it's not easy just walking into a shop and getting the help we need when we need it without a bunch of rigmarole, hassle, judgement or attitude. This whole situation was so much different than what I've experienced in the past with other shops, it honestly blew my mind and was such a relief. They took an already stressful sleep deprived day that had gotten significantly worse, turned it right around and got me back on the road. This place is different. “When we were new to Lake Mills we got a very old lawnmower as a gift from a family member. The mower hadn't run in 7 years or so and we just couldn't get it to start. I'm not mechanically inclined so we were close to saying "screw it" and buying a new lawnmower. Our next door neighbor suggested we give Larry a try and we are so glad we did! We gave him a call and he said he could help. He picked up the mower and had it fixed in just over a week for under $100! That's just a little bit cheaper than a new mower, isn't it? Larry is a super friendly guy and his prices seem super reasonable. If I have any small engine repairs I need in the future, I won't hesitate to call him!”
