Second, repair and replacement of our 900 square foot deck. On both projects, they were meticulous in their work. The porch entryway exceeded our expectations and is absolutely perfect. The deck was in desperate need of repair and Mike and the team dealt with a difficult situation and has provided us with a deck that will last for years to come. “Short story: do your homework. I met with Molly at my house here in Poulsbo. I did absolutely none of the requested pre-meeting work that was provided to me well in advance. Our meeting largely consisted - then - of going through the paperwork step-by-step. I would say that Molly did her best to provide a value by quickly preening down our misconceptions toward a workable solution. Had I done my pre-work, I'm sure more time could have been spent on the actual kitchen design. Molly handled our appointment as professionally as I hope I would be; given our carelessness. Molly never once mentioned - or even implied - that I had in any way disrupted the process. Again, I think she sought to provide value. Ultimately, I think we will likely be leaning a different way for our needs. Not because we don't think we would get a sub-par outcome: our plans just expanded beyond the scope of our kitchen remodel. We think we may need the help of a more general craftsperson. You can have something done two of three ways: fast, cheap, and right. Fast and cheap may work for a fast-and-cheap need. I would say that Molly probably under-charges for a consultation, but you get out what you put in. I mean, what were you going to do, anyway; watch at least 45 minutes of animal rescue videos?”
