“The owners were so wonderful and had given us a very well stocked gift basket of fruits, bread, cinnamon rolls, etc. The area is so serene that we ate breakfast every morning on the porch. We wish we had more time to spend at Madrona Meadows, but kids and grandkids had us busy running around Seattle. Also, our pet dogs were welcome! A definite A+ recommendation.”

“This place is amazing! It isn’t like a regular campground where you feel like you are on top of your neighbor camper. The field is open, beautiful and feels like you are staying on your favorite ranch! The cabins look beautiful (we are tent camping), the grounds are kept up well, lots of area to explore and the bathrooms are clean, spacious and easily accessible wherever you choose to camp. 10/10 would recommend to everyone! It definitely helps that Judy was so kind and welcoming when I called her as well. We will be back many, many times!”

“I LOVE supporting local businesses in my community so I was thrilled to find out that The Burton Inn and Spa was under new management and was offering spa treatments. I went last weekend, 11/15/20, and had probably the best facial that I have ever had-and I’ve had a lot being in the beauty business! Therese listened to my concerns and modified my facial accordingly adding an incredible massage of face and neck to detoxify and plump! All the skincare was clean, which is hugely important to me, and she even gave an arm, leg and foot massage hitting points I’ve never felt. I would highly recommend when on Vashon booking either a facial or massage at The Burton Inn and Spa.”

“Our time here was so pleasant - the place is small, but functional, and very clean. On arrival, there was a fresh pack of coffee beans in the freezer - nice touch, fresh coffee every morning. The fresh eggs and vegetables were very welcome, and the non-intrusive management was responsive to all needs. Just chill, and enjoy the birds on the seed feeder outside the bedroom window waking you up in the morning, and the deer in the field to the north nibbling on grass in the evening. #fidofriendly but be aware that the perimeter is not secure...”

“It’s great camping site. But when we visited, they started to cut down some trees from the morning and the noise was terrible while we were enjoying outside breakfast... ? You can hear pretty frequent train sound. But it’s clean bathroom, well maintained place.”

“The kayaking was really awesome and very fairly priced for the experience! The people who help you with the kayaks are really nice and professional.The English sounding gentleman had a great sense of humor and really made me laugh! The views were amazing no complaints on kayaking.2 of my famliy members did the ebikes.They had a good time but you really have to be careful riding the main roads,they are very busy.Would be better if there was a trail to ride on.overall Great experience for everyone!”

“It was the loveliest B&B I’ve ever been to. The rooms were beautiful and immaculate. The facilities ere wonderful. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The views were spectacular. Saw an eagle flying overhead. Awesome ! To top it all off our host was fantastic. Judith made us feel welcomed and and at home. She is an incredible woman, very interesting and warm and friendly. By the time our stay came to an end, we not only had one of the best stays ever but also had made a friend. We will be back as often as possible.
