West Fenwick Park

Address: 3808 S Reith Rd, Kent, WA 98032, USA

Park

“The playground is close to a busy street but (and this is awesome) it has a fence to block children from the street. Something about the playground design made it so that i didn’t even have to worry about my toddler going to the parking lot let alone go to the street. All the slides pointed to the open field and going up to the fence was an uphill battle, literally. But once your kid goes up the small hill there are several slides that guide them down and send them to a whole lot of fun, like, some fun blocks and a rainbow road that’s fun for all ages. The toboggans are way too cool. We also, caught the Kent parks department laying out some amazing activities. This park is a must.”

Clark Lake Park

Address: 12520 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98031, USA

Park

“A hidden gem in Kent. If you look for it, there's a trail that goes all the way around this small lake. The parking lot is small, so this park never really gets too crowded. It is a perfect place for a nice walk. We always bring our picnic basket with us for a nice, quiet lunch in one of the many meadows.”

Eastridge Park

Address: &, 143rd Ave SE & SE 257th Pl, Kent, WA 98042, USA

Park

“Cute little neighborhood park. My son loves the digger, and you don't see those as often at parks anymore. A climbing structure with 3 slides, and a fireman pole, one big kid swing and one baby swing. The baby swing could use help. It worked fine for my 2 year old but it's kind of twisted out of shape and not as nice as other playgrounds. And the play structure could use a wash or repaint or something, it's a bit dingy. The whole park seems clean and cared for though, grass was mowed nice and there is a big open space to play in. There are no bathrooms, but there is a fence around the whole park, except the entrance there is no gate. Lots of room to park in front on the road too if you need to drive. Has one picnic table and one trash can.”

Community Garden

Address: 1353-, 1399 W James St, Kent, WA 98032, USA

Park

“This is another one of Kent's local gem. I wish that the garden is open year round but the planting season of April 1st through the last Sunday in October is plenty of time to plant. You are expected to do organic gardening only. You have to register early because spots do run out. It is in a locked and fenced area, therefore thereis no danger of people walking by stealing your veggies. The plots are about 20 feet by 20 feet. Water is included in the fee. Returning garderners that clears their plots of weeds and personal items as per required by community rules have the option to have the same plot again next season. They also have a small shed that contains basic tools like wheelbarrows, rakes, shovels, etc so you can get started without buying and bringing your own tools.”

The lady working their was very helpful and stayed 20-30 minutes after 7. I didn’t know the dog wash closed an hour early. But she was willing to wait. The dog wash has everything you need. I brought my 2 furry dogs here and it won’t be the last of seeing us. Thank you Reber Ranch.”

One near the partment buildings, one in the middle and the boat launch. Open space near the boat launch to play Frisbee or catch. Several people had caught fish. Handicapped parking everywhere but the boat launch. Part of the path is a floating sidewalk on top of the lake. There is a disc golf course across the street from the lake.
