Van Doren's Landing Park

Nice open park great for tossing a ball or flying a kite or drone. Connects to a large natural space area with extensive walking paths, maps, benches.

nice community park for large group picnics. renting was a bit of a hassle (event insurance). location is remote enough that it's not crowded.

Fabulous hiking trails, bridge and beautiful scenery!

The park is near a river and the Green River wild life reserve. It is rather secluded and away from the busyness of the city. There is plenty of trails around that are nice and peaceful. The best thing was a lookout tower that you can climb and see all the surrounding woods and meadows. There restrooms, picknick tables, and grills. I would definitely go back.
