“Beautifully appointed and clean room with cute rustic decor (hotel unit). It was so nice to have ample counter space in the bathroom (a rarity in accommodation!) and a large shower. It was also nice to have all the toiletries in large refillable dispensing bottles instead of the usual wasteful little plastic bottles. Nice thoughtful touches throughout…wish we could have stayed longer. (The restaurant was excellent also—we shared the largest brownie/ice cream dessert ever!)”

The pizza was ok, staff said it was thin crust and cheesy but it was thick crust and not so cheesy so mostly bread. The grilled cheese sandwich was really really good. Melty cheese with fresh tomato, sourdough bread had a parmesan crust. Huckleberry vanilla swirl cone was ok. I expected much more of a Huckleberry flavor. Maybe once the huckleberries are ripe, there will be more huckleberry. The wait staff seemed a little annoyed, maybe they just had an off day or were coming off a busy rush or were short-handed. They were nice, though, and attentive. We will be back soon to have burgers and huckleberry shakes. Perfect meal after a hike through the Ape caves.”

Four out of Five stars on the food, and honestly I think that it's just a personal thing for me. Danielle created multiple custom menus for us based on our food preferences and reception location, which we were able to further tweak and customize. They even had a chocolate fountain which was honestly my favorite part! We had passed appetizers, a grazing table, chocolate fountain, and bar service for a wedding of about 50 people. All of the staff was friendly and professional. Bear Country Catering also included delicious vegan, dairy free, and gluten free options for our guests with dietary restrictions. They even took care of setting up our cake and cupcakes (purchased from a different bakery) which was super nice. I appreciated how helpful, flexible, and delicious Bear Country Catering was!”

Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there, huge plus. The course itself is immaculately maintained, especially given the insane heatwave. There was a patron who had drank way to much before her arrival and the management handled this with professionalism and discretion. Kudos to that young gentleman for doing what's right. This place is worth a try. I will go back! One more thing, the complementary sunset shot was a cute and nice gesture from the establishment.”
