They have an in resort pizza shop with pizza wings and ice cream! The pizza was amazing! Will definitely refer anyone headed this way to stay here!”

Without a doubt one of the best vacation spots I have ever stayed at.....lot 195 is not only large, but extremely clean as well as the whole resort, but also offers a great view of the water and east access to the boat ramp. “Wonderful, family friendly campground. Bathrooms were clean, freshly painted and well lit. Playground, basketball court and rec room was within sight from our site - a great asset for the kids. “When it comes to Mobile Home Parks, Derby Run is the several grades above the rest. Unlike some parks the speed reducers are fair and not the size of curbs. And the management are delightful. Many wonderful neighbors. Great for kids. Near not one but two 7-11s.”

“I was surprised at the tents sites. This was my first time here and I took a Scout troop. The residents are friendly bringing us firewood throughout the weekend. Base is slow on the weekend which made it a great time to hike around, slowly exploring the base.”

“Great place. Several trees which is nice on got days. The lady in office (Dusti) is AWESOME! They try to have a family movie night every Friday night. They also try to do other little events for the campers on occasional holidays/weekends. Laundry is 75 cents per load. It is next to NAS Oceana so there is jet noise (sound of freedom) occasionally. Not sure why people on here book a site next to a Master Jet Base then complain about the jet noise.... Anyway, we like it here and will be coming back.”

“Me and my family lived here about 3 years ago, we stayed for about a year. We had a vary good stay with them, always had good interactions with the staff, and never any problems, had a few issues with the home we stayed in, but the maintenance men help us work thru them in a timely manner. Just the past week I ordered something online and I did not update my address on this web site, so it sent it to the home I lived in at South fork, thinking I would not ever see my package, I was just going to reorder the package with our updated address, but the new tenant in our old home gave it to the South fork staff and then the staff emailed me letting me know they had the package and to come by to pick it up. Vary thankful for the help from the tenant and staff at South fork. Thanks!”
