“My church and I love it here! We have a dinner most Wednesday evenings at 5:30PM, then we have different BIBLE studies at 6:45 for about 1 hour and A youth program also. Sunday we have 2 morning services. 8:30 am is a contemporary service (casual dress) and a great group of folks playing drums, guitars and keyboard along with singers for our PRAISE worship team. 9:45 a big variety of Sunday school classes to choose from (for all different ages). Then we have our traditional 11AM Morning service which has piano music, a choir and some solos. Our Pastor is wonderful and he does the same Sermon for both services! “I’ve been going to Harvest since I was a little kid and I’m in my late twenties now. It’s a wonderful church and it’s Jesus led. Everyone is so caring and nice. My only critique is that I wish there was a better ministry for single twenties and thirties. The College group isn’t active and I don’t really fit into the young marrieds class. We need an older, mature Christian to lead us in between young adults. The women’s ministry is great and I have a lot of women that I look up to. I also enjoy going on the Trail Days mission trip every May!”

“Noon mass for the faithful is celebrated Tuesday through Friday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Smithfield. Father Tony's mass starts at noon and runs about a half hour. Face mask and social distancing are employed for a safe celebration of the eucharist. Father's homily is timely as he explains the first reading and the days gospel. On occasion he will speak on the particular saint's feast day which educates attendees about the saint's life. An excellent way to spend ones lunch hour during these difficult and uncertain times. Parking is free and abundant.”
