I have never volunteered at a church in my life, but because Northridge has such a positive impact on our community, I decided I want to be a part of the tremendous success Northridge is experiencing. I've been a volunteer for 18-months now and I have witnessed first-hand not only the value of the many programs offered by Northridge, but also the genuine love and fellowship that thrives at Northridge. They have a really nice stage, fresh roasted coffee from "Corner High Coffee", the food was good, and the worship music was great! “This place was absolutely beautiful! I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into the sanctuary! Gorgeous beyond measure! I had no clue what was going on during the mass, and what the meaning and significance was of all the different body movements, hats, and other objects used, and I feel like it would take me a while to understand everything, but this was my very first time at an Orthodox Church, so take this as you will! It was still really cool regardless! The priest and his son both served at the altar and they were both incredibly dedicated to their faith, and to keeping their sacred places clean, orderly, and safe for all people who come to join them! I could tell that they were very passionate about their faith and when I talked to the priest, who I met after the service, he seemed like a genuine kind of character. He was happy that I came to join themand was honored that I wanted to take pictures was interested in seeing the post one it was live! I will make sure it's up on my page before the end of the day today!”
