“Above and beyond! We pulled up, pressed the button for service, and nothing. 10min goes by a car pulled up to a stall beside us, ordered, got served, and was gone. We still had not ordered. We got the waitress's attention and it was discovered the the stall we pulled into was out of order. They quickly got our order, discounted it due to their technical issue with the stall, and promptly brought it out. Everything was great. If you've never been to Sonic get the chili cheese tots...a large order (if you get the small, it's just enough to get you hooked on them), so go ahead and get the large, you won't regret it. They're great!”

“We have been looking for a good dinner spot in the area for years because it’s the halfway point on the way back home from Tidewater. Well, we finally found it. These folks know how to cook. The calamari was phenomenal. We also got a Greek salad and a white pizza—both excellent. Finished the meal with some lovely gelato and sorbet. Service was top notch. We will be back many times.”

“Had a desire to get some blue crabs since we hadn't had them in a while. Oddly enough the desire kicked in while in Richmond and not back home where crabs are everywhere. Found that this place was listed and gave it a shot. It's definitely got the crab shack vibe going and clearly it gets a ton of business. We ended up getting the crab kickers and seasoned steamed shrimp. Both items were delicious and we ate them onsite. Kickers are crabs already broken in half with butter and spices. Most people get food to take home and it was about 100 degrees during our visit so not many people wanted to hang out. Staff was super helpful even tho they were busy. We also ended up getting some of their fired Whiting which had a great breading on it making it crunchy with each bite. I think it's cash only but they do have a ATM inside. If I'm ever back in Richmond looking for blue crab I'll go back.”

“We saw this place while traveling to our hotel and looked it up online. The reviews were good. 4.2 overall. We decided to go for the next day for lunch- so glad we did. The place is clean , with in house dining as well as take out. The menu has a nice variety of fried fish along with shrimp, oysters, and crabmeat - prepared in variety of ways from fish tacos, poboys, combination baskets , and sandwiches. We choose the basket with fried flounder, shrimp ,sweet potato and regular potato fries with a side of coleslaw. The food was very good. My only concern was the portions were small- but after eating- it was just enough. The Service is wonderful, and the prices reasonable . We would definitely revisit.”
