“The night I went the place was quiet it was the first time I've ever had this type of food and I did enjoy it. I believe the older gentleman might be the owner when I told him this is the first time I have had this type of food he really didn't respond. And I asked him a few questions and he answered them briefly but considering that I was looking for suggestions and he was more interest in leaving me on my own. I'm not sure but maybe it's because he speaks broken English and I do not in any way hold that against him and I love people of all different nationalities and races. I just thought it was odd. But I would eat here again.”

“As soon as you walk in you are surrounded by great music and delicious aromas. Staff was patient and nice while we made selections (chicken sandwich, yucca, 1/4 chicken (dark meat), rice and beans and fries). Food was brought to our table and was so good and satisfying, especially with the various sauces. The rice and beans were a bit bland but not enough to deduct a star. I also want to call out that my date left his cellphone behind. It took us a few hours to realize he didn't have it. Guapo staff had it and answered when we called it trying to find it. They held the phone for us until we were able to get back there. It was a small thing that was really a huge thing. We're very grateful! Between the great food and the kind staff, we'll definitely be back!”
