My Beautiful and Sweet Daughter and Niece, enjoy sitting in the Gazebo, with me, when they Visit me. There is a Family, who visit often, at a Shrine they've created. Very Pretty! I consider myself, a Gatekeeper, along with Our Housing Manager. We make sure, that the Gate is Locked and that, the Grounds aren't disrespected. 5 Stars, Of Course!”

“Located at the end of House Anderson Rd... Turn left at the last unmarked gravel road on the right hand side of the road. The cemetery is at the end of this short road. This cemetery is still receiving, but the best thing about here is the history. The land here and surrounding was of the first all African American community in Texas after the Civil War. Slave owners (who are buried here as well), gave 40 acres to former slaves Delsie and Robert Johnson Sr who in return started the community of Mosier Valley.”

“This pioneer cemetery has tenants that have been here since before the Civil War but it fell into neglect in the ‘40s and 50s. In more recent years the property was cleaned-up and adjacent land was acquired. It’s educational to wander thru the oldest section, and sad to see stone after stone of the children that failed to survive infancy, and sadder still to see the stones of my own family members that died during my lifetime.”

“Really cool this is the place to go for your landscaping, paving, gravel etc. They have it by the few or by the ton. Friendly office staff and prices are great. It takes a minute or 2 when you buy for them to get to car but they're quite busy.They have every kind of rock I've seen and we will use for our landscaping needs going forward, much cheaper than buying by the bags at local big boxes. And you can pickup what you need a rest later if needed.”
