“When I visited the first time I felt comfortable and welcomed (thank God). The pastor is cool and seems like a normal guy, but with a ton of passion. The worship band played great music. My kids had a blast and wanted to go back. I felt completely welcomed. It's sad that I tend to go to a church just hoping I don't have to endure something weird, but that's what church shopping has done to me. I was so relieved that this just seemed like a group of normal people that share a common belief in pursuit of Jesus. The thing I like most about this church is that they are mission minded. This isn't just a group of people that huddle on the weekends and do nothing else. There is a clear focus on how we can serve our neighbors and make a difference by living lives of purpose.”

“I have been attending Holy Shepherd for about a year and a half. It is a wonderful congregation with a wonderful Pastor. The people love the Lord and the Pastor is a very good Bible teacher. Really like the Sunday School class as well. Visited a couple of times and felt right at home. Liturgical service. If you are not accustomed to that, have no fear. The Pastor does not let you get lost, but tells you where to go next in the Service Book (hymnal). The service is reverent and really gives you a sense of connection to the believers of the past and how the Church has worshiped for centuries. Love it!”
