“Well I have to say it, "The Fat Kid in me was screaming for joy" after I bought a dozen donuts. The bear claw was light and very delicious with the apple cinnamon filing. Made up for having no apple fritters. But the light plain cake donut was suprising. No heavy oil taste to any of the 4 donuts I devoured yesterday. Just light fluffy goodness and the glaze was lightly coated as well. All the more worth the $11 spent because I had the bear claw on the side with the dozen. IF I was blind folded, I would say it was a KRISPY KREME donut and I used to have some from there a few years back when I lived in California. But these are lighter, not heavy at all and I like the lighter glaze coating on these donuts. Fat Kid was crying over the enjoyment of having one yesterday since it had been at least 6 months in not having one. And I knew I had the best weapon if I was ever pulled over by CCPD. Hahaa!! But ut was well worth my purchase and first time buying from the donut Palace, time was around Noon. I would have better luck, if I was there earlier in the morning, some donuts he had sold out of when I arrived. Delicious Goodness!!!”

“The store was great to shop! Even a butter spread I didn’t even know was made...honey and cinnamon butter. Others too. Love Nature’s Own but it is almost $3 in the store. You know why things are so much less, it’s overflow bread. So the store’s volume varies depending on grocery stores in the area. They even have farmers and ranchers that feed bread to their animals. My fiancé feeds it to his ducks and geese IF he can keep it from a swarm of seagulls! As for the help usually only 1 person working and there’s a lot of people getting truckloads to take home to their farm animals in the back. Sometimes pickings are slim cause the cows will be eating good tonight! Never know what people are going through , especially in these times. A child in the hospital with COVID-19 might upset your frame of mind too.”

“Excellent. We will be going back. I used the drive though asked the lady I want 12 donuts. Told her to pick them for me and she did a very go job of it. The donuts are not overly sweet. There just right and the kolahis are go also. The office was good. The lady offered to put the creamer and sugar packet for me and that was good because I was driving and I usually wind up making a mess.”
