“Danny, the owner and funeral director, has definitely found and followed his calling! He is amazing at what he does, and his personal touch helps you and your family walk through a very difficult, and otherwise painful process, with as much ease as possible. He goes out of his way to try and simplify the process of planning and burying.a loved one. He is respectful and conscious of one’s budget, and he has a vast knowledge of various options that can save money, which he freely offers. This, of course, means that he makes less money, but it doesn’t seem to be all about that, with him. He seems honest and genuine, and he doesn’t make you feel like he’s a salesman! We have buried four beloved family members with Danny, most recently my mother-in-law. She had a small life insurance policy which would not have covered the entire cost of her burial. After asking some questions, Danny realized that she qualified to be buried at the VA cemetery, since her husband was a veteran. This saved thousand’s of dollars, and we would not have known anything about that burial option, if he had not taken the time to share this information with us. Again, this is money that he would have made directly, if he hadn’t have informed us of this option! We are grateful for his kindness and compassion, and would highly recommend his services!”

“Its never easy burying a loved one especially if its your father, but Vazquez Funeral Home made the process much easier. We were expecting over 350 people the day of the viewing and They helped us make arrangements for more seating. We brought in extra chairs to fit in the extra room. They had no problem with us moving around and rearranging furniture. At the end of the night we had over 400 people attend. I really want to thank them for all they did and how the process was so easy even under difficult circumstances. The only mistake we had was with the police officers. We were scheduled to go to Forest Park (lawndale) but the police officers were guiding us the opposite way. We had to get next to the police officer and let them know because they seemed to be confused. At the end we did a U turn before getting to Beltway 8. Overall, everything came out great. Thank you for all your help during this difficult time.”

Lewis & Sons, whose quality, based on prior experience, has declined. I am so happy we chose Earthman. Their entire team was incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgable. We are especially fond of Zelma, who managed the whole planning process. The funeral was executed to perfection, a true honor to my grandmother. Earthman simply is the best in Houston (or possibly anywhere).”
