“My favorite bakery 🧁 I love it here! I love how tasty the pastries & desserts are. My favorite is Black Forest. Try the banana bread and their red velvet. I loved their fruit cake too, so delicious. Ask to meet the chef, she is always eager & friendly and love to answer any questions of her delicious pastries. What I love the most is these desserts are so tasty and not swimming in sugar calories like what you buy at Costco. These desserts are half the calories! Not extremely sweet either.”

“Perfect pastries every time! This place was the first time I ever had a "real" croissant and I became obsessed with learning to make croissants. 17 batches of croissants later and I still haven't matched the quality of Ollio yet, but I'll get there one day. At a price point of $3-$4, it's impossible to beat for how much work they are. The vendors for Ollio in the Frisco Fresh Market are great people; super friendly and really excited when people try their food for the first time. They also make good recommendations (but that's easy to do because everything is so good). Today, they let me know that they had some new flavors of the danishes/croissants and that got me excited for what is going to come out of the Mad Scientists' lab next. As a return customer, I love trying all the new flavors!”

“This is a hidden gem. We went there with family for lunch today and all the dishes were excellent. Portions are huge. The bread is scrumptious. The calamari is one of the best we’ve ever had anywhere in the world (as well as the yummy marinara sauce they served with it). We will be back next time we’re in town!”

“Great cookie! My fiancé and I stopped in to get something. The amount of options they have is crazy. We got oatmeal raisin, and the nice ladies working gave us a peanut butter cookie for free as a “sample” The cookies are rich and soft. I’m a fan of a lot of cookie shops in college towns designed for getting something at 3am in the morning, but here takes the cake (the cookie?) Would definitely return again!”

“If you are craving for donuts, It has to be Chans Donuts. When I first walked in, I liked how clean and tidy the place was, plus the owners are really friendly. I tried their chocolate donut, it was really soft and not very sweet. I have had donuts elsewhere but nothing like this. I love to support small businesses and this is definitely one of them. “I’ve been coming to this location for years. The store is well located in the center of town. I’d recommend the sushi or getting a sub from the deli. Although their rotisserie chickens are also delicious, I’ve had to wait a long time for them to be ready in the morning. Also, don’t expect the parking lot to be an easy process.”

“The corned beef sandwich on rye bread was very good with a nice deli brown mustard. The potato salad was interesting, a bit chunkier than I expected, but it had good flavor. The pickle plate was a nice touch. I topped the meal off with an outstanding Doc Brown's black cherry soda. The owner stopped by to see how we liked the meal, and we had a brief conversation about how much we enjoyed their bagels that usually brings us in. They make a solid lunch, and there was a good crowd in the store. They were out of the egg bagels, but they graciously offered to make some fresh for us. It worked out perfectly, since the bagels were hot and ready to go at the end of our meal. We will definitely keep coming back for the bagels, and we will add them to our list of favorite lunch spots.”
