“The room we had was good, the service was great, and the breakfast was great. The pool was nice and warm when the jets were on. Had full kitchen complete with pots, pans, dishes. 20 minutes outside of Nashville but worth the drive if touring Nashville. We visited the zoo and stayed here. 2 queen with a sleeper sofa. Kids used the sofa. Sofa was not too comfortable on the couch.. took mattress off and put in floor, and they were good then.”

“I was looking for a 3 bedroom family friendly rental in or near Nashville for 5 nights. Everything on airbnb was over $1,000. I found old hickory lake cabins and was so happy to find a 3 bedroom for $840 for the 5 nights. It was a total bonus it was right on the lake! We spent lots of time throwing rocks into the water (my almost 2 year old could do this for hours) and having bonfires down by the water. This cabin is very family friendly with games, toys, and a bathtub for the little ones. The owner is very nice and helpful. We had no issues checking in and the cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. We received our security deposit back promptly. If we are ever back in the Nashville area we would absolutely stay again and I recommend this location to anyone looking for a family friendly vacation rental.”

“This was a quick overnight stay but the people there were so friendly and helpful. The park was nice & clean and we got really good vibes about the campers. We were really impressed with this campground and would like to spend more time in Nashville so we can stay here! GPS took us the long way in, but it was worth it. The Lebanon area is beautiful so we really enjoyed seeing the countryside.”

“I enjoyed my time here. It is a "camping experience" that's not "tenting" the tiny house u stayed in was cute and quiet the ac/heater worked great the beds were comfortable. The idea of a TV in the house is a bit of a joke as it isn't a smart TV and he has only cable so you can get many channels of static unless you bring your DVDs along. The house was clean and a fun experience. The lake is beautiful and the "hike" is fun”

“We stayed at the Twin Oaks Guest Ranch over Spring Break in 2021. On New Years Eve, my family and I reviewed the trips of 2021. We made an unusual number of trips that year to catch up with family and took one international vacation as well. Still, everyone listed our shortest and closest to local trip as the #1 experience of the year. I cannot imagine a better setup. The cabin was clean, we enjoyed delicious food, wonderful company, and plenty of animals to visit. We especially enjoyed our horseback experience. I have two inexperienced boys while my husband and I have a little more comfort in the saddle and we all stayed safe but had a blast! The kids especially had fun playing with the dogs and "helping" feed the animals. The booking process was simple, and Deb and Cowboy were wonderful hosts. Weather was the only downside, but we knew rain might limit our options going in.”

“Recently stayed here with my family. Was exceptionally clean and the front desk staff were extremely helpful. The room was a very nice size and the beds were comfortable. Having the kitchen area was a huge plus since we were traveling with teenagers. The pool was very clean and it even had a little outdoor area to grill and relax. Breakfast was very good with a pretty big selection. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town!”

“This place is Clean, and if you only get one thing from my review, let it be that this place is Clean. Close to the interstate, so it's noisy and the walls are thin. The beds are basic spring mattresses. The rooms are very basic without any fancy stuff, but everything is new and week taken care of and very clean. The rates are cheap, and the service is good. This is a nice, CLEAN, hotel without any bells or whistles that costs far less per night than the competitors. I have been here for about 2 weeks and wouldn't hesitate to use this same chain elsewhere. Did I say this place is Clean.”

“The room seems a bit dated, and at the very least needs a decent maintenance person to come through. The A/C units front face is falling off, the shower pan caulking is cracking and browning. Overall, it's not bad, just minor stuff. The service, the front desk was helpful, but my room wasn't ready for me for almost an hour PASTA the 3pm check-in time, despite arriving at 2:15pm, and the front desk asking the cleaning staff if it was done and ready several times, always getting "15 more minutes and it'll be done". Finally, the front desk lady went up to the room herself, and saw it was done, and got me checked in and a room key. Very thankful for that! The breakfast is basic, but quite tasty, and plenty of it. Their serving time is good too, 6am start! Only ice machine is on the first floor by the main lobby, so that part sucks, but also very minor. Overall, I'm enjoying my stay, on night 2 out of 13!”

“Great price for a decent space and good service, however the floor is in both of our rooms were extremely dirty. At this exit no other hotels are currently available since one is still recovering from the tornado. Us eight kids slept funny fine and were thankful there were no signs of bugs or other cleanliness issues. For this side of Nashville and our budget, cannot be too complaining! Thankful to see the small kitchen appliances too though we did not need them, overall easy location and solid staff doing their jobs.”
