“All staff we encountered were super friendly. Campground was clean. Great pool. Lots of activities - but not overwhelming. Well maintained sites - ours, and many around us, had fresh gravel and were level. Nice store that served food. Decent sized sites - I didn’t feel like we were on top of our neighbors. Cell reception wasn’t great - but you’re in the mountains. Reception was actually better than I had anticipated. Overall, a nice stay!”

“Warren and Janet made our wedding anniversary one to remember! The house was wonderfully decorated for the Christmas season and was impeccably clean. I have to admit we were a little spoiled, we had the place to ourselves. It was so nice to get to sit and spend time with them and breakfast was DELICIOUS! (Dutch apple pancakes with sausage and grilled pineapple) We can't wait to go back! I can't recommend them enough. You won't be disappointed!”

“If you're visiting Honesdale and the surrounding areas this is where you want to stay. The staff is friendly and the accomodations are beautiful. We rented on of the larger unit to visit some relatives in the area and I couldn't ask for a better place to rest and relax. Make sure to stop at the Wallflower downtown for all of your gifts. They have a wide variety of unique and high-end merchandise that will have you coming back year after year.”

“Perfect location for our sons wedding. Everyone was coming from out of town and they have nice accommodations. Did not have to worry about anyone driving home. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Had buffet dinner for the reception and a breakfast the next morning which was also excellent. Could not of been more pleased.”

“The location, that view and a lake that's notable for the absence of motorized boats and booming music coming from them. Absolute serenity in a place that will make your instagram followers go green with jealousy. The lodge itself is a bit of an odd situation. They definitely need work to bring them up to decent standards, but everything works. The beds, especially, were super clean. We met the owner's father who told us that they keep making small improvements. Very friendly and lovely atmosphere. Once they get their renovations done, it's an easy 5-star.”

“Pet friendly and spotless clean, and very well maintained. Owners Garry and Barbara did a fantastic job making their guests feel welcomed here. They really thought of everything! The towels are the same quality as the ones provided at a luxury hotel - soft and thick. Even the doggie guests get their own food bowls and mat in the room, as well as some delicious treats! The cottage has everything you need for a perfect home away from home. We loved the grill on the porch! It’s centrally located so you are close to everything whether you want the mountains, the beach, or good restaurants in town. It’s close to everything! We loved every minute of our stay here and we can’t wait to be back!”

We decided with my friends to have a spot with a lake view, so we ended on the other side of all the activities _ was perfect for us ! Restroom are almost everywhere, which is good. We were just surprised that shower are not free. Checking again on the website and didn't see anything about it... you need quarter. Beside, it is really great location !”
