Renegades Saloon

Address: 1058 Main St, Newfoundland, PA 18445, USA

Restaurant

“Wait staff was great! Very personable. Food was excellent and I've never had cleaner fresh fries anywhere!!! Great atmosphere.”

Roadside Bistro

Address: 1026 Main St, Newfoundland, PA 18445, USA

Restaurant

“I LOVE the Roadside Bistro! they have one of the more fun and creative menus in the area, their "regular" menu and then a menu that they rotate monthly, with such clever ideas. In summer, you can't miss their lobster rolls. In September, I was addicted to their shrimp po' boy sandwiches. Everything is delicious, cooked to order, and priced right. Their fries are great, too. Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and a good serving size. Their sign can be hard to see from the road, but they are across the street from the Dollar General. They have some picnic tables for outdoor seating, and a port-a-potty is available on premises, too. Newfoundland is barely a blip on the radar in the Poconos, but it's a great little area and the Roadside Bistro is a place you have to check out.”

“Spankys is a great hometown diner. The staff is always courteous, quick and friendly. The food is excellent quality.”

Newfoundland Hotel

Address: 939 Main St, Newfoundland, PA 18445, USA

Restaurant

“I was driving from a Mountain Rescue Association team accreditation test in the Adirondack Mountains in winter, back to Pittsburgh. Decided to detour to get a good dinner at a place that was highly recommended by other reviewers. I concur. Lovely place. I will definitely drive significantly out of my way to eat here again. And after a cold weekend in the mountains, it was nice that they seated me by the fire. Friendly ambulance, great service, spotlessly clean. Long daily list of specials, long menu, lots of interesting choices. Big portions. Comfort food as well. Warning, if you expect the spicy food to be mild because this is in a small rural village in the Poconos, the jambalaya will take the enamel off your teeth. Just like I like it. Cornbread was also great.”

Jam Room Brewing Company

Address: 875 Main St, Newfoundland, PA 18445, USA

Restaurant

“Great atmosphere. Live music. Beers are OK some better than others. The NEIPA’s are done very well. Something for everyone. Small, cozy place. Very friendly and if you’re in the area I would recommend supporting them and stopping by.”
