“Walden's in Burgettstown is always my "go to" lunch stop when bike riding on the Panhandle Rail Trail. Family owned and operated, Walden's has a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food at reasonable prices. On summer Sundays, they have a BBQ menu: a choice of ribs, chicken or pork along with two sides for $10! I had ribs, collard greens and potato salad. Everything is homemade and unbelievably good. “Drive through was backed up, but they took care of customers quickly. Since the last time I was here, the franchise has been taken over by Tomtreyco of Ohio. There were underage kids waiting on customers at the counter and drive through windows. The service was quick nevertheless. I did takeout but did notice drive through was having problems with orders being correct. I have noticed that other franchises in Pa. are being taken over by The Alamo Restaurant Group. It is another Ohio company.”
