“I've eaten at the Palm tavern before and have always had excellent food, but I was a bit disappointed with my last visit. I ordered a burger, after my daughter raved about them, but it was not that great. I ordered the burger medium well, but there was no pink to it, and it was quite dry. For a normal burger, this might be okay, but this thing was really thick and had charring in the outside. It was a chore to eat. Next time I will order medium, but I didn't want it to be too rare. The french fries were excellent as usual, but they were cold when our food arrived. And boy did we have a long wait for the food. There servers were friendly and serviced us quickly at the table, but the place wasn't busy at all, and it took about 30 minutes to get our food. Again, this visit was opposite of every other time I've eaten here, when my food was awesome and arrived quickly, so hopefully it was just a fluke. I will definitely try again, as I had good experiences before, but that was several months ago.”
