Skippack Creek Loop Hike

Address: 3698 Water Street Rd, Collegeville, PA 19426, USA

Park

“I've hiked this loop more times than I can count. Each time I go, I look for side trails to explore to keep it interesting and most of the time, I'm usually not disappointed. Some of the side trails I've explored before but it seems every time I'm there, I find at least one new trail. In all, every experience I've had has been good. As a quick note, as many times as I've been to Evansburg, it seems the condition of the trails are starting to deteriorate in some areas. There are sections of trail that are getting wider and wider due to rutting caused by horseback riding and hikers trying to hike around the rutted areas. Once the ruts get bad enough, they don't fully dry making them muddy and a bit difficult to navigate. If you decide to hike the loop, make sure you're prepared because there's not much of a chance of avoiding it. In all and despite the rutted areas, the trail is pretty well maintained and it's worth the trip to visit.”
