“This is a Hidden Gem hiding in plain sight! I was not at the Avenue Diner for over 10 years, my recent visit I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was there remodeling done, but they also revamped their menu as well. There are a lot of daily specials as well as new food items, the back room has been added for parties catering & overflow from the front of the diner & the food is incredible. Some people consider it a tad pricey, but the food is unbelievable as well as the service & the portions, which are two of the most important things. You get your money's worth and then some. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are impeccably clean, the staff are very friendly and attentive but most importantly they give you privacy. They don't hover over you or make you feel like they're trying to push you out, it's a very relaxing experience. See for yourself, enjoy a leisurely breakfast or a late evening snack but go and enjoy yourself!”

“Place has been around for years. Needs to modernize itself. With the volumn of business, mostly older folks, they should start taking credit or debit cards. Their prices are very high on pizza and a soft drink is about two dollars and 15 cents. They simply are playing on their staying power.”

“What a unexpected treat. A quiet Monday night out shopping and wow a delicious 10 ounce lobster tail dinner with French fries, broccoli and salad bar. It was delicious!!! I have been raving about it and found out it is the Monday night special for $20.00. Well worth treating yourself.”

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but just to counter the thoughtless, stupid one star review above, I wanted to say this place is fine. Nice selection of croissants and fancy donuts and better coffee than Starbucks. Everyone was friendly and helpful and my order was processed quickly. Always happy to see new coffee shops pop up in the area. ???????? Perfectly good place to pop in for a quick snack or some coffee to go.”
