“I love this place because it's close to where I work and they have many specials every week. They have your common types of Subs which are on I think a 7" or 8" bun, there are times they have porketta, seafood salad, chili dogs - my personal favorite is the porketta with horseradish sauce. All subs come with lettuce and cheese but if you want onions they're extra. Because the Italian sub is the most popular, they make at least a dozen and have them on the counter so you can grab and go as this is a very busy place for lunch. They have assorted size bags of chips in different flavors & they do have bottled water & soft drinks. It is cash only because it's a small mom-and-pop operation & they're only open from 9am till 3:00 p.m. but it is a Hidden Gem hiding in plain sight on Slocum Street in Swoyersville. The porketta is worth the drive, but it's not available every day. During Lent they do have Lenten options such as egg salad & tuna salad.”

“Great place with great food. However, the waiter who waited on us took almost 30 minutes (and a reminder that we wanted it it) to give us another root beer. Also, our order was messed up. We had ordered haddock to go after we ate and recieved salmon. However it was remade thankfully for no cost. Overall, great place. Will definitely come back.”

“Murphy's food is super good. You have to try the shrimp n crab bisque. I adore that flavor "but" my personal taste is, they could cut back on the salt in it. If you are watching your salt intake, ask for a sample taste before ordering. I tried the pretzel n cheese dip app n found that quite enjoyable. Soft, warm pretzels about the length of your middle finger. (no pun intended) Mild white cheese to dip. We enjoyed the scicilan pizza w onion, chopped pieces, no strings.”
