“Locals bar. The crowd knows each other---they are friends, buddies, co-workers, girlfriends, relatives, cousins, and in-laws. They come here to eat, enjoy some drinks, and socialize. The bartenders are good, real good...they make good drinks. Maybe not the first place you want to go to. Nothing negative, but in the evening hours, you are going have to wait for a place to hang. You are gonna wait for a drink. Forget much else. Like I said.........this is a locals bar. I live nearby, go there a lot, so it's good. The bartender knows what I drink. Everybody tips the bartenders and servers outrageously well. Exclusive RICK PRO TIP!! If it is crowded; it is sometimes empty, but, if it is crowded, and you like the joint, and plan to stay for a while, then when you get your first drink, press a $10 or $20 spot in your bartender's hand. “Truly a classic little hole in the wall diner with a large selection of regular clients. Neither the parking lot, nor the seating of this establishment are large which seems to match the atmosphere well. The prices are generally quite inexpensive, but the quality of the food is quite good. They regularly have 4 to 5 breakfast specials on Saturdays, which is the only day of the week I have ever gone. This is not fancy food or service by any stretch of the imagination, but the food is always good; the service is always friendly; and the specials are often a little innovative. Definitely worth checking out!”
