“I liked this place drove by coming back from Pittsburgh. It is smoker friendly which may bother some but there is a nice outside area. The outside area looks like would be a cool place for live music, they have a very unique outhouse which I thought was neat. Drinks seemed pretty cheap 5 single shot rum the Pepsi and 5 yuenglings was about 23 dollars. Someone ordered pizza which looked good. I will have to try the food the next time I go back down to Pittsburgh. Looks like the offer alot of food.”

“I've been going to this place for years but recently just tried their pan pizza for the first time. It looks similar to a pizza hut pan but with a little less grease, but if you like that greasy taste, you'll find it a tiny bit dry (says my mother). We got one with sausage, extra cheese, onion and banana peppers and one with extra cheese, bacon, and extra bacon lol. My pick, the bacon mountain was absolutely phenomenal and I would order it again for sure. You just can't go wrong with this place. Be sure to get lightly done if you get their regular crust.”

“This hotel is gorgeous with stunning views to match. The rooms are all larger than normal with high ceilings that make potential noise from the other guest rooms non-existent. The size and space of the rooms make them feel more open and as spacious as they actually are especially with the minimal decorating style, so the room doesn't feel cluttered or overwhelming in anyway. All of the rooms have balconies or a patio, so you can enjoy the view day or night. This hotel also has the most comfortable beds, with pillow soft duvet's and pillows that make you feel like your head is resting on a cloud. The bathrooms have very sexy (accurate description) glass rain showers, and they are truly glorious. The breakfast is also absolutely delicious. The beds are so comfortable and inviting, that you may not get the chance to enjoy the breakfast. The rates are comparable to hotels of it's caliber, probably in part to the focus being on your comfort and not the design, which is a plus, not a negative. The staff is down to earth and are just genuinely as nice as they are personable. So this hotel really does have it all style, beauty, comfort, and most of affordability, and I recommend the Lenape Heights Golf Course Hotel highly. As a side note, having professionally work for literally almost every brand over 27 years, I have also had the privilege to stayed and experienced each one personally, so I know you will absolutely enjoy your stay as much as I have, and will stay here every time I am in town. I would have added photos, but you'll want to see the view for yourself, and then you'll know a simple photo wouldn't do it justice.”

If there was a place like this near where we lived, we would eat there 2x per month. Please note the photos were from October 22, 2022 (for menu prices, etc). The petite filet remains at 48 dollars for 8oz, cooked to perfection. The photos are of Veal Marsala, Chicken Marsala, Filet Mignon and Cheesecake. Try it, you will not be disappointed. You must call for a reservation, they can not accommodate walk-ins and be patient, it is a relaxed meal that is not rushed.”

“My wife and I had a wonderful time at the 1844 restaurant yesterday 7-2-22 celebrating our 34 wedding anniversary. The meal we were served was excellent and the ambiance quaint and charming. Both of us where wanting a very relaxed and quiet dinner and we we're not disappointed. The staff was pleasant and accommodating and we got our appetizers, salads and entrees very quickly. Both of us were very pleased with the evening we spent there and would like to once again share our compliments to the chef as well as the owner of the establishment and our waitress for marvelous anniversary meal. I would reccomend the 1844 restaurant to all who wish to have a delicious meal in a quaint country setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city anytime. We do plan on visiting again hopefully in the near future! And I do suggest the Crem brulee and the New York cheesecake with raspberry topping for desert!🤗”

We usually have our go to spots but wanted to try somewhere new and we were not disappointed at all by our decision to stop at Harpers. The service was phenomenal and our waitress was attentive and friendly. I got the Hawaiian 5-0 burger and my mom ordered the chicken strip basket. We both got waffle fries with our meals. The food was delicious and the servings were big—we both took home leftovers! The restaurant was very clean including the restrooms. We will certainly be back!”
