“I found Modern Transmission through a referral from a local shop where I live, they do not do drive line work. I needed a center support shaft bearing on my Tacoma. Previously, I had been waiting for over 3 months with a Toyota dealership who said that they were waiting for the part, some sort of national shortage on parts. Well, that doesn't make the issue go on hold, it just got progressively worse. I spoke with John, told him about my situation and what needed to be repaired, along with a new universal joint. Made an appointment so they could assess the problem. John told me approximately how much it would be and that it could be done in one day. It was done in one day and cost about what he said which was very reasonable considering what the Toyota Dealership was going to charge. I had this work done towards the end of February. They were very professional and polite, did exactly what they said and there were no surprises, which is rare these days when it comes to the auto industry. I highly recommend Modern Transmission and if I ever have any other drive line issues, that's where I am going.”
