Jean-Marc Chatellier's French Bakery

We have visited Paris 3 times and had our share of pastries. Let me just say this gem in Millvale is the real deal and has high quality French baked pastries, cakes and pies.

The staff is very friendly and efficient, jean-Marc is great and chats with you if he is baking and near the counter.

Our favorite thing here is everything! We try all the various items and all are great. This time around we had the pumpkin pie, carrot cake, chocolate mousse, lemon raspberry and the staple croissants and kouign amann.

We are so lucky to have this bakery on our doorstep in the North of Pittsburgh.

The plain croissant was huge and buttery. I will be back for more (and I still have to try the chocolate croissant)!

Great macaroons Nutella ones are my favorite so far!

I don't have enough characters to write a review of how much I love this bakery. It's an institution in Pittsburgh. Located on the west side of Millvale, just off of the route 28 interchange. You would be a fool not to make this a destination in the course of your life. If you even wake up in the morning and think how much you would like a mind blowing pastry, get in your vehicle and go. Treat yo'self.

Best bakery I've ever been to. Fresh raspberry filling and real lemon cake. Best macarons: I'm telling you, these are the best flavors: espresso, salted caramel, almond, lemon, even vanilla and chocolate. Shortbread was excellent.
