West Side Washateria

There is now a change machine and A/C to follow up other reveiws. Straight forward laundromat. All but three of the machines were working. 28 average size wash machines, 2 larger wash machines, and 11 equal sized large dryers.

I have had great experiences with Westside from the previous owners to now the current! The current owners have taken such good care of the facility, I was able to do my laundry during this hot season, and not die of a heat stroke! When I was taking my laundry out to my car this evening, one of the attendant brought out my second laundry basket, and loaded it into my car for me without me even asking! I appreciate the kind customer service and cleanliness of the facility!

**Edit, up from original 1 star review** They locked the doors over an hour before closing while my clothes and bedsheets were still inside in the washers, with the only option being let them mildew overnight. Wouldn't answer the posted phone number at 8pm, and both the building and online posting say the washateria closes at 9. EDIT: the owners reached out first thing the next morning regarding my issue. Turns out there was a misunderstanding, and I believe the issue was a one-off event. Great facility run by people who care, and they went out of their way to make it right beyond what I expected. Will be coming back!

After frustration dealing with some water issues and a broken washing machine at home, I had a bunch of wet towels and a backup of laundry. This place was just what I needed. It was laid back, simple, clean (the lady there actually mopped the floor and wiped down all of the machines while I was there), and inside the machines were clean too. Prices were reasonable. I got all of the loads done pretty quickly. Very happy with this place.
