“I Came to them when I wanted to have a custom ring made with my family's birth stones in it. Braden helped me come up with the design that I wanted and the layout of the ring. He Was very conscious about helping me stay on the budget that I had set for my ring. I told him I was Trying to keep the price anywhere between a $100 to $500. We picked out artificial gyms That were priced reasonably well. We had done a calculation together and the price was going to be around $200 plus the price of setting The birth stones into the ring. He told me it would take up to 5 to 7 days to get the call back about the setting price. When he called me back he delivered some very devastating news. He told me that it was going to be $900 total for the ring. That the company that they were using to set the ring was very pricey. I told him because of the price that I was going to look elsewhere but I think him for his time. Braden could tell that I was pretty upset Because I had had my heart set on this ring. He felt so badd after talking to me that he called up the company that was setting the gyms and Negotiated a the lower price for me. He called me back 2 days later and told me that he had gotten the company That sets the gym stones in the rings down To a comfortable price for me. He even found out that it was around the same price to By Real Birthstone instead of buying lab made ones. I was really touched by this He really did go the of and beyond for me. Unfortunately by then I had already purchased a ring from Kay jewelers. He said he completely understood and handled the new as well. Now that I am thinking about getting my Daughter a Custom made necklace with our family Birth stones in it I'm looking forward to finding Braden and ordering it through him.”

“This place is incredible! They have the traditional drinks as well as a huge selection of other drinks which are absolutely incredible. I got a latte which featured fresh orange. I was a little worried how this would taste as I couldn’t quite imagine it, but holy cow - it works! Staff is wonderful. “When we walked in for the first time, during covid no less, we were greeted immediately. The employees asked about our cat, her particular food issues and helped us find the best options for her. In addition we received our varieties free if they didn't entice her. As we left we immediately declared we would be coming back. This just based on the attention we received. Our junk food addict of a cat suddenly was eating quality food with Gusto. We have weaned her off dry food as well! She loves the food we get her now and we are pleased with the security of feeding our cat the best food she will eat. All of this, customer service, healthy cat, and local business! There is nothing more we could ask!”

“Things you should know-Your tax dollars are NOT paying their salaries. Carriers are NOT allowed to exit their vehicles if dogs are on the premises. Carriers are NOT allowed to back up. Carriers do NOT get paid to deliver a parcel to your house they only get paid to deliver to your mailbox. If you see a carrier delivering after 5pm their working for free! You have NO set time for mail delivery. Carriers are at the mercy of their postmasters, distribution center, Amazon and extra Parcel drop offs from UPS and FedEx added daily to their routes. Only the regular carriers get insurance and benefits. And the only way to become a regular is when someone retires, quits or is fired. Most will work over 10yrs before becoming a regular. I lasted less than two weeks as a carrier before I quit. Frankly, the pay is not competitive $17 an hour to work 10+ hours a days, 7 days a week! Breaking your back to get done by dark- There’s a reason every post office is short staffed. Give your carriers a break and if you think you can do better than apply. I guarantee you won’t last any longer than I did.”

“We recorded five songs at Stray Pines this summer and we had a great experience: Chris has an easygoing studio manner, excellent ears, deep reserves of patience, and is a well of good ideas without being overbearing. We loved the space too - the barn is an amazing place to do creative work in, with lots of interesting instruments tucked into the corners that end up finding their way onto whatever tunes you're working on.
