Sabores Mexican Cuisine

Address: 317 S Osage Ave, Dewey, OK 74029, USA

Restaurant

“Go to Dewey OK to eat Mexican food! We arrived at 1:15 PM on Sunday and the Sunday crowd was still there. There were a few folks starting to leave, so we were lucky enough to get a table immediately. This is a small tightly packed little restaurant. With the close quarters and being tightly packed it was very noisy! The customer service here really stands out. We were seated in seconds; a waiter followed us to the table with chips and salsa, took our drink order and he was ready to take our meal order. The food came to our table quickly. We were checked on every few minutes to see if there was anything we needed and to check our satisfaction with the meal. Sabores was staffed to handle the restaurant full of diners. They must have had five or six waiters/waitresses working. Every one working there was very friendly and focused on providing customer service. Even the waiters/waitresses that were not working our table would check on us too! Great customer service! The salsa they serve is very mild. It almost tastes more like spaghetti sauce than a Mexican salsa. They do have a hotter and spicier version. Ask for it, it is very good. Also ask for an order of chili toreados. They bring out two big jalapenos, grilled onions, and pico de gallo, all covered in seasoning. It is a nice accompaniment to the meal! We had the Sopes de Mexico and the El Molcajate. I recommend them both. They were big plates of food with great tasting sides. The Molcajate had a mild chipotle sauce on it along with fresh Mexican cheese, nopales, onions and loads of beef and chicken. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" on Yelp. I've probably been there.”

Great sweet potato. The drinks, I had a Pink Diamond, were awesome! The bar staff and waitress were very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be back!”

Monday's Stop N Shop

Address: Highway, 28572 US-75, Ochelata, OK 74051, USA

Convenience store Gas station Restaurant Store

“Honestly, the reason for places like this being the way they are is because of truckers. We spend too much time in the tiny bathrooms, we trash the place and have no respect. If your going to write a review, examine yourselves first. Our experience wasn't that bad. We bought dinner, used the facilities and paid for parking. They were polite and so were we. There is a sign for parking pay but it has horribly faded.”

Dewey Lot-A-Burger

Address: 915 N Osage Ave, Dewey, OK 74029, USA

Restaurant

“Well I was somewhat disappointed in this dry burger, I asked for a cheeseburger with mayo and the veggies ..but as you can see mustard n no cheese. I like a greasy like the other lot a burgers used to make, but I've noticed the buns are thicker n bigger and the meat is different. Not impressed with this new style of burger. Sorrrrrryyy I'll wait few weeks before I go back to any of them 😢😢😫😫”

Chicken Express

Address: 1234 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006, USA

Restaurant

Mayras Mexican Grill

Address: 207 S Comanche Ave, Bartlesville, OK 74003, USA

Restaurant

“I like little hole in the wall places, sometimes you can find a gem. This place doesn't seem like much and their location isn't great and it may even put you off before you even give it a go but I suggest you do give it a go. Family and I had lunch here and we all had a good experience. You can tell it's just a honest small business owner doing his best to survive but they make up for it in good food and hospitality.”

Pies & Such

Address: 216 E 2nd St, Bartlesville, OK 74003, USA

Restaurant

“Super cute sweet little restaurant! I don’t know how they do it, but the sandwich bread is the best I’ve ever tasted! Absolutely delicious😋 Simple menu, but hey, sometimes it’s nice to have simple. Great customer service and divine pies too! Definitely recommend making a lunch stop here!”

Mexican Viejo Bar and Grill

Address: 201 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006, USA

Restaurant

“Having a 4.5-star rating on both Google and Yelp confirms that the restaurant is a big hit in the community. I concede to the locals’ opinion. The Mexican food expertise of the clientele that were coming and going this afternoon would withstand vigorous scrutiny. Without question these folks know Mexican food and love Mexico Viejo Bar and Grill. Their credentials are obvious. Advice for the out of towners….Saying that you are from [fill in state] and you “know” Mexican food, loud enough for someone to hear it in this restaurant, would cause an involuntary, hissing spray of beer from their mouths, followed by a slap of the table and raucous laughter. Sit down and enjoy the food. The menu covers the OkieMex food spectrum and many traditional items like soups. Decent red salsa, thin crispy chips and an excellent roasted, medium heat jalapeno salsa, got things started. A friendly, patient and assiduous young lady was managing the floor. The food was delivered on the customary hot plates from the broiler, with enough heat to sustain the perfect food temperature throughout the meal. My wife made an unfortunate selection from the Lunch Special menu, the Sophia Special; spinach filled enchiladas covered in queso. The down fall of the dish was the spinach. Likely frozen not fresh. It was rated “not the best I have had” by my wife. Competing against spicy meats, covered in queso; this is probably one of their least popular meals. Not recommended. Real Okies don’t eat spinach enchiladas. I chose the Lunch Special Chimichanga with beef. A decent size flour tortilla, packed to capacity with ground beef, rolled and folded, deep fried and covered with very good queso. Pico, guac, rice and beans filled out the hot plate. Well-seasoned beef, smooth refried beans, fresh guacamole and average rice. Roasted jalapeno salsa added another layer of flavor to an enjoyable meal. And there you have it. It may be the version of authentic OkieMex you are looking for! Boulevard Diner

Address: 205 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006, USA

Restaurant

“Boulevard Diner is my comfort food go to place! They have an astonishing amount of menu choices! They always have a daily special, but my go to is usually the Patty Melt or Reuben with Fries, but today I got the Chopped Beef Hamburger Steak dinner. It was 1/2 pound of beef covered in sauteed onions and brown gravy, with 2 sides and a HUGE dinner roll! I got mashed potatoes and fried okra. The okra was perfectly crisp and golden. The dinner was $8.99! If you are lucky you will get my favorite waitress, Kathleen! My tummy sure is happy! Thanks Boulevard Diner ❤️”

La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant

“This place is AMAZING! Food is absolutely delicious, service is always prompt, and the employees are always kind and courteous. We love to order out from here, and our order is almost always ready in 10 to 15 minutes. As I said, food is delicious and a lot healthier than most other places. Also seems to be very clean. 😊 I would recommend La Fiesta to anyone!”

KFC

Address: 3125 E Frank Phillips Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006, USA

Restaurant

“So to the man that was working the drive-thru, at 3:30 p.m. on one 1/20/23 he was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Also whoever made my meal they did outstanding. I have actually avoided going to KFC for a long time, due to the last few times I went My experience was terrible and the food was definitely thrown together in half made. So I appreciate the workers on the shift today. I work 12-hour days and I'm busy and rarely get to eat, but I am extremely glad that I stopped today. Good job you two! Literally the best service and famous bowl I have ever gotten!”

Sushi-One

Address: 3805 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006, USA

Restaurant

“What a wonderful place to get sushi and other Japanese eats. The miso soup, oh the miso soup. I could have that with every meal that I eat for the rest of my life. Every roll that was made was amazing. The pink lady roll is expertly packed with lots of fish and perfectly spicy. The panda roll has so much going on but is perfectly balanced. Now, the Bartlesville roll is the bees knees. It was probably my favorite. The escolar is on point. The chefs here have it down to a pat on how to prepare sushi. The only thing that "could" be a downside is the wait. We ordered five rolls and it took about 20min to get it out. My family was prepared for the wait. But first time sushi eaters may not be ready for that. Check them out you will not regret it!”
