“It's been years since I have stepped into Speedway Grill. Only because it's in a location I don't often pass. I think this diner has been open for at least 30 years. Decided to stop ln for lunch it was a coworker's birthday and that is where she picked. The food was really good and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is we only have an hour and we had to take most of it to go. The place was packed. The walls are filled with old race car pictures. They do have rootbeer in a frosted mug. I will be back to get one. I saw this gem on the way out, or I would have had a big frosted root beer.”

“First you cannot ask for nicer people. I was placing a "to go" order and was greeted cordially by no fewer than 3 people. I enjoy supporting small business and friendly businesses. Second the food tasted good and I ate every bite. The only negative was how little beef is in their portion. I ordered sliced beef with sides of beans and fries. It came in one of those paper "boats" like a hot dog comes in. It was FULL of very tasty fries. The beans were in a small Styrofoam container with a lid and to my surprise, the beef was also in a small Styrofoam container. The beef was flavorful and fresh/hot and I didn't need any sauce to enjoy it. But I'm not a big guy and I wasn't full after I ate everything. I do intend to give them another chance when I have time to dine in and get whatever is the next step up in size. Solid 4 stars 🌟 🤩.”

“Stopped in on our trip through Oklahoma. The food was delightful and delicious. For small town, Oklahoma, this food reminded my Mexican husband of Mexico! The milanesa rivaled that of many of his hometown (in) Mexico restaurants. The Enchiladas Velacruz were delicious. The grilled shrimp were cooked deliciously, and the sauce was very enjoyable. I honestly wish there was a touch more sauce... but i didn't ask for more, so that is on me. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Friendly staff and attentive service. The waiter didn't miss a beat when my husband spoke Spanish. I left an item on the table, and it was caught quickly and returned. Overall a great meal & we would return in a heartbeat 💓.”

“Harmony House is one of the best places in Muskogee for lunch. They have a daily special. My personal favorite is the Neiman Marcus Chicken Salad Sandwich. The ambiance of this quaint little house makes you feel fancy. Every table has a sample of their delicious cookies. They have a nice bakery. They have everything from cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, and cupcakes. Definitely try the lemon cookies they never disappoint.”

“Just happened to be in the neighborhood and saw the sign "Back in Time" restaurant. Hours are 6am to 2pm closed Sundays. Walked in and really felt the ambiance. Checkered floor, red chairs, boothes, cabinets, and Betty Boop statue along with pictures and other items that take you "back in time." The waitress was quick to acknowledge our arrival. The food was served reasonably quick as we drank hot coffee as we waited. The food was delicious, portions large and seasoned well. We ordered pancakes and biscuits with white gravy, sprinkled with tasty ham and sausage and cheese, and served with hash browns. The omlette was made to order with ham and cheese and hash browns. Spent around $40 for three adults, including drinks and tip. My 95 year old Mom loved the experience and food.”

“We arrived at the restaurant a bit early and it was already very busy. I take this as a good sign for any restaurant. Although busy we were immediately seated. It did take a while to receive our silverware setups, but the staff was very friendly and attentive. We did have a mistake with my husband's order, but the waiter worked extra hard to appease my husband and provide him an alternative. The waiter smiled the whole time while being very apologetic. I had the Beef Enchiladas Bang Bang tonight with a Patron margarita chips and salsa. I was not disappointed. I'm still stuffed and it's been a couple of hours. To start we were given chips and salsa. The Salsa was flavorful some of the best I have had in Oklahoma. The Margarita on the rocks is massive, great with a smokey finish, the meal came with 3 beef enchiladas, rice and beans. The beef was a bit chewy, but overall good and filling. Perhaps it should have been cut in the bias to make it a little easier to eat, but the flavor was good. Overall I give this place two thumbs up and expect we will be eating here again. Perhaps next time we can try a dessert.”

“Wanted to see what this place was about so went on my lunch break. I'm so glad I did as the burger was amazing, fries are okay. I got the char double and it didn't let down. The place is small and you do get that mom and pop home cooking feeling here.From the picture yes it does taste as good as it looks. The chef was super friendly and brought the food out to us. Every bite the burger was still steaming from coming right off the fire. I was looking for a new good burger place and this is it. We are going for the steak next time as it looks amazing.”

“So this has became my 3 times a week routine that I actually look forward to! I work in muskogee 3x a week and I come here between clients-originally to grab a quick bite and do paperwork but now it's for all of that (I'm addicted to their salads and their ice lol) plus the service from the girls that work there! They are awesome, and I have my own table now designated for me when I come in. This place seems to stay pretty busy but their food is always delicious and service is excellent! “I was just passing through town heading southbound on the 64 and I seen this place at the last minute. I hit the Jake break and made a hard left Turn when I caught a glimpse of the catfish sign. Once I parked my truck, I stumbled on out and wobbled my way into the place Fat roll and all. I got the catfish and it was beyond delicious fresh crispy and I also got some crawfish and fried okra which was made to order so they were nice and crunchy. highly recommend. give this place a shot I think you’re gonna love it.”

I also had a grilled cheese, frito pie and burger and fries through out the week while my husband was working in Muskogee. Pretty good little fast food grease joint! One of the worst ones was when I ordered 2 large pepperonis and got one correct, the other was in the box upside down and had only cheese on it, no sauce. For the most part though, they do alright. “Excellent. Crispy Flounder was hot and delicious, broccoli was tasty (I added lemon juice and salt.) and salads were fresh. We enjoyed the lemon vinaigrette. Cheddar biscuits were decadent, as always. Delicious iced tea, brewed just right and with stevia offered. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. Any little dissatisfaction was that the music was too loud for quiet conversation. Staff was friendly and efficient. So much food we couldn't either one finish. Would much rather to have 2-3 pieces of fish instead of 4 and take $1 off the price. (Perhaps a senior menu?) First time to visit a Red Lobster since the pandemic, when prices jumped and menu shrank in Ft. Worth. 4 1/2*”

A quaint place where the staff seems to know everyone who walks through the door, a waitress with the perfect personality for her job, and good food fast. I had the ham & cheese omelet and it was the perfect portion with crispy hash browns and toast. I do prefer cubed ham instead of sliced but no matter. My 2 friends i was dining with had breakfast as well and all our orders were perfect and tasty. We were checked on by the super-efficient waitress and enjoyed out meal. They have a drive through and you can order online for pickup but I heard people phoning in orders and even placing orders in the drive thru. They have lots of cute kitschy stuff on the walls and even a coloring page on the back of the menu that these 3 adults enjoyed. Will definitely stop back when in the area, it was exactly what we were looking for.”
