“Do they cost a bit more than other places? Yes. Are they better trained and more likely to fix a problem than put a bandaid on it? Yes. My wife had a local shop "fix" her breaks three times. Each time it cost less than the quote from Thayer, but the problem always returned. She ended up spending a lot more and the problem was still there 18 months later (plus three times into a shop). Fixed by Thayer and several years passed with no issues. My grandfather and father used to say "the cheapest option often costs you the most". Keep that in mind when comparing quotes. And Jake's a good and reasonable guy to work with.”
