Her solution was for me to pick out a cake and she wouldn't charge me for it... Which was fine in my case because the cake I had ordered was not that complicated anyway. It should go without saying that people order these cakes for special occasions because they want something "special". A bakery can make or break an occasion just in how they handle the cake. I do not hold the employee that took care of me responsible, she was kind and tried to make the best of this situation but I expected better of Kroger. The cake was delicious which is why you still got four stars.”
