“This place was really good. I was staying nearby in a hotel so I walked over (~9pm, so I'm very glad they were open until 10pm!). Since it was so late, they were out of a few items, but had exactly what I wanted, steak /rice burrito bowl. They suggested a great sauce to put on top (they make most of them in-store!). The bowl tasted great and both people working were friendly. If I'm every back in town I'll be back!”

This was OLD SCHOOL first-class full-service phone service with timely and thorough email follow up. Connie was my liason for Carefee Awning and the random trucking company who lost and then tried to hold my awning for ransom. Connie slashed through it all and took care of me. “Lakeside Hideout is where Sunnyside used to be. My only complaint is they discontinued turtle soup. I would sometimes drive 2 1/2 hours JUST for turtle soup. I ordered the tenderloin and the fries. The fries were perfectly fried and had salt and pepper on them. The tenderloin was the star of the show. They have grilled and fried. I ordered fried, obviously, because duh. The meat wasn't pounded out too thin and the breading wasn't too thick. The meat was tender and juicy and the breading was light and crispy! It was up there as one of the best tenderloins I've ever had! My server was lovely and it was nice to sit outside by the channel and enjoy a meal and watch the farmers do their thing. The prices feel a bit steep for Mercer County, but I'll be back again.”
