“This used to be our old congregation before we transferred to Indian Mound Ave. We traveled there by bus and walking because we were visiting there and seeing a friend who's wife had passed away a week before. Also to see family members who had transferred from another church to became members there, too. Since it was Father's Day, many people we knew wasn't there. Mostly people we knew were there and there are new faces we just met. It has changed a lot, but it's just like being at a Family Reunion for Christians. If you want to visit a church with a family atmosphere, go visit Kennedy Heights Church of Christ.”

“I don't go to church there, but I do go there because they have the Caring Place. There I can get food and clothes for me and my family. They're open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-2pm. It's not far from Montgomery Road and it's on the bus line.”
