“We were a big company and we immediately found a good table. Even though it was Saturday night . The service was pleasant. Good beer and delicious food. I love the German pork knuckle, it was not bad, but a little dry for my taste. The sausages and lamb ribs were excellent. My friends also noted that the desserts were very tasty!👍🏼”

Matt And Tony’s Wood Fired Kitchen

Address: 525 Short St, Columbus, OH 43215, USA

Restaurant

“Stopped by for lunch during restaurant week, Wow! This place checked all the right boxes, great food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and relaxed atmosphere that weither your in jeans or a suit you'll feel comfortable. Drinks: I ordered a side car from the cocktail menu, it was made and presented perfectly and I'm always happy to see a restaurant using local (Watershed in this case) liquors. My wife ordered a dirty martini (not on their cocktail menu) and was asked about the type of olive (clue cheese stuffed!) and if she preferred gin or vodka. Great service! Food: This is what drew us here for restaurant week - $25 for a starter, main, and dessert. You've got to try the ribs, full rack of St Louis style that's cooked and then grilled until the meat is falling off the bone. Even outside of restaurant week you can grab them on a Monday for only $14, which has got to be one of the best deals in the city. We also ordered some delicious crab cakes (also on the large side!) and finished up with a very good chocolate moose pie and a delicious and not overly tart key lime pie. Matt and Tony's is new enough (opened in September 2019) that you might not have checked it out yet. If you haven't you should, I can't it'll stay under the radar of the Columbus food scene for long!”
