“This is a nice house. I went here to go on a tour of it and was satisfied with my experience. The tour started in the gift shop across the street and went into the house through the front door. Once we were in the house, we went into the kitchen, and living room, then up the stairs to the second floor, where we went into the bathroom and the bedroom that the kid from A Christmas Story slept in (I forgot his name). After we went in his room, the tour group went into the back yard and then back to the gift shop, thus ending the tour. I gave this house five stars because it has been preserved to be exactly like it was in the movie. It’s also a nice house and I wouldn’t mind living there.”

“Getting to stay in the Bumpus house along with touring the Christmas Story house and museum was the highlight of our trip. We are definitely Christmas Story nerds so this was a dream come true. The stay in the house was awesome. We were able to watch the movie while we played the Christmas Story game. The property was extremely nice and very clean. Very tasteful vintage décor while still offering updated amenities. We had dinner & breakfast at the Rowley Inn across the street and it was some of the best food we had on our trip. We travelled over a thousand miles for this and it was so worth it. If you are a Christmas Story fan this needs to be on your list of must do things.”

“From the valet to the front desk to housekeeping to the bar to the restaurants I experienced nothing but great service, good food and had a ball at the hotel! Went to the room to find a cowboy hat that I LOVED and wore my whole trip to Dallas! I loved the comfortable robe left on the bed for me too! Just everything was so good!!! I genuinely have no complaints at all!!! Even the rain on Memorial Day couldn’t take the smile off my face, we still got in the heated pool & the jacuzzi!!! I can’t wait to come back and stay at this beautiful hotel!!! Shout out to Austin my Valet who kept my car looking good and close by & called me by my name every time!! God Bless you all and keep up the good work....”
