“Had the pleasure of meeting Dawn who is one of the owners and runs this family business alongside her husband. The restaurant is named after her mom and mother in law. Southern hospitality reflects in the food portions and service. I ordered the fried gizzard and liver along with candied yam and fried okra. Not something I eat all the time and was missing it. The party at my table also ordered some fried chicken, Mac n cheese and a burger with fries. Everything was excellent. I had to take some to go. The place was recommended to us by another business and it did not disappoint. Since we were visiting from out of town we may not become frequent patrons but will always remember the food and hospitality.”

“Have a trucker shower (for truckers or people who are having plumbing issues), they keep it EXTREMELY clean as well as the store and parking lot, family has been customers for 15 years ( when Victory was a manager) and everyone who has shown up to work has been nothing but nice to me and my family. Only complaint I have is that there was a former employee who would get a little too comfortable around customers. Don't think she works there anymore! Would highly recommend going here. The assistant manager with glasses and red hair actually paid for my gas one night in order for me to get home when I was having a rough day. Pretty good people”

“Best food I ever had for the most part. Had the sausage melt bowl for breakfast and peanut butter waffle. The waffle wasn't cooked through. The lady that was serving us did her job efficiently and quietly. Her mood was very dull though. I hope she has a better day. Atmosphere: very busy on a Sunday morning!!”

“Good and getting better! I go at least once a week for a smoothie and the High Tide bowl. One time they were out of ice, and they’re always slow (but not with smoothies) and the customer service is lacking but…today when I went in they were on the ball! There was someone coordinating prep and customer service and I highly recommend. I order online or call in and that way don’t have to wait. Very grateful to have higher quality food to purchase for lunches or on the go!”

They appear to have a vested interest in the positive experience. The drive through can be very, very, congested, but they move along at a swift pace. Inside is smaller but very comfortable. A great mix of Mexican and American food in a very inviting and casual hometown setting on the end of a really cool convenience store and gas station. My first time there... had a foot long hot dog, order of 5 hot wings with house fried rice and a big diet coke.... don't judge me...the wings were awesome... crispy but hot... best wings I have had in ages... house fried rice is a winner.. full of shrimp, pork, chicken... totally worth the trip there... even the hot dog was good....not great, but pretty darn good.”
