“Ordered through door dash, first time trying this restaurant. Ordered the two meats and a side combo. The meat was good, but not great, could have had more flavor and not as much crunch, seemed slightly over cooked. The fried rice is yellow and didn't care for the taste of it. It was bland and lacking flavor. Even adding soy sauce didn't improve the taste very much. Would order from here again to try different meats but not the rice.”

“Loved this place. Fine chopped pork bbq plate. Hush puppies were the best I’ve ever had - I’m not alone, voted best in NC. Sauce was vinegar based - I had the spicy - delicious. Pinto beans with raw onions were awesome. Finished it off with vanilla pudding. They don’t have a website - so you have to just go in. Totally worth it!”

“Our visits here are always amazing! We had a wonderful waiter, he's a chill guy and he always makes me feel welcome! He took our order promptly and we didn't have to wait long at all for chips & salsa, or for our food to arrive! The food was amazing! “I am pleased to say I highly recommend Coaches. Today for lunch Tonya was our waitress and she was very polite and helpful. Topped off our drinks, brought condiments and offered anything we needed. She was a wonderful waitress with perfect timing to ensure we didn’t need anything! Probably the best waitress we have ever had at Coaches. I understand that everyone is short staffed these days but it has been a long time since I had such a great overall experience. Also, Mary, the cook came out to give me extra wings as she said she only gave me 7 instead of 8 in my wing basket. I would have never even noticed the wing count but she said she wanted to make sure my order was right. That shows going above and beyond to me to make sure the customer was happy. It’s the little things that truly make me want to return to a restaurant and these two ladies made a great mark on me!”

“This place is a great find. Our waitress Ellie suggested the dish called “Polliyo” when I asked about getting some peppers added to ACP. WOW it was incredible! The dish also had zucchini and it was super yummy. The owner was so kind and told us that most of the dishes are named for good friends (some who have passed away) and it was very sweet to see him smile in remembrance of his friends. Top notch place, food and people. ☺️”
