“Sometimes you just stumble upon a place by complete accident when you aren't in a hurry to get home. We had gone to a distillery on the way home. The lady told us about a local rodeo that had food trucks. We went. My food truck server was wearing a hat from here. I inquired what it was and where it was. It was on our route home. We stopped. Grandslam Homerun. Truly a breathtaking view of the river and just a beautiful building. We had beer that was good. They were having an oyster roast. One of my relatives went for it and ate his weight in roasted oysters. If you are in Elizabeth City you really need to make this place a stop”

“Got coupons in the mail. Luckily we looked it up on line, because the address it gives on the coupon isn't the address any more. It moved. The people are nice, not great, but nice. Food was good, fries were cool, not fresh made. We got the 2, three fish dish came with Cole slaw (great, n crispy) hush puppies (good) fries (cool not fresh) n 3 classic fish (good, crispy, fresh) All in all, good meal, good price for what you got. Paid $1.99, to add 5 butterfly shrimp (good). Will come back. They have a great senior prices for seniors, Wednesday and Fridays, I think those were the days.”

“My second visit was better than the first! Adding to my review because I can't write another one. Chicken with Broccoli Fettuccine Alfredo is $15.50, but its enough for 3 meals n man sooooo good. Stromboli Buffalo chicken is huge! My husband loved it! The food was great, man The Ruben has so much meat, the krout n sauce mixed in the meat, great portion to meat mix, with fries was enough for 2 meals. Country fried steak, mashed potatoes n gravy was great enough food for 2 meals. Waitress was so nice n helpful. Good prices for the amount of food u get.”

“Electric Garden Been here a few times and I have never had a bad time. Immediately when you walk in, you get great vibes. The inside is decorated with a variety of plants, well kept seating area and kitchen. The owners (I think they are. Sorry assuming.) are always very helpful and knowledgeable. I know if I ask for a recommendation, it's gonna hit the spot. All of their menu items are made with fresh ingredients and they do an amazing job of noting health benefits. Often times we forget that what we intake can affect not only our physical health but our mental health as well. Thank you Electric Garden for the reminder ❤ Today I decided to have one of their beautiful smoothie bowls. I went with the Pura Vida bowl(pineapple, Mango, papaya, kiwi). They knocked it out quick while I was able to watch them make it. Presentation of the bowl was on point, every bite was just sweet enough with the natural sugars and honey. I really appreciated the cold temperature of the smoothie in the bowl. I must also add, the bowl had a generous amount of fruit inside. 🤤. Take a moment and stop by for a bowl, a smoothie, or grab some juice. These guys have an amazing menu and their passion is easily seen. They have a great location downtown on 608 E Fearing street.”

“Convenient location in town. Tastefully decorated and tables not placed too close together. Delightful service by one who made appropriate recommendations. Great selection of menu items. I chose Rockfish, bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp. The fish was well cooked but the scallops were bit over cooked and the mostly tasted of bacon (my fault for choosing it), but the shrimp were just right. My wife chose the crab cakes, which she says were spicy but not overpowering. We topped off the meal sharing a cheesecake with raspberry sauce—yummy! Wished We’d ordered two. Fair prices and pleasant time. Recommend.”
