It has a few things they can play on .it is a safe place to go because it is monitored 24 hours a day by police because they have cameras at the park. It has some benches you can sit on as well. “Absolutely amazing place to go hunting!! Matt and his son were the best guides you could ask for. Very knowledgeable about the land and animals. It was an overall great experience. They really do go the extra mile to make sure you get an animal and a great experience. Him and his son were extremely polite and helpful. Ive deer hunted my whole life and this was one of the memories that will be very hard to beat. Guaranteed that once you go, youll definitely be coming back again. They have an abundance of beautiful hogs and they will put you right on top of them.”

Harmony Playground

Address: 1774 Glen Laurel Rd, Clayton, NC 27527, USA

Park

“Cute playground and sand/water play area. Unfortunately couldn’t figure out the water pump feature 😅 not sure if it’s functional right now. but it’s a nice playground regardless and the sand box has some toy trucks in there for all to use. Side note for if you’re taking younger kids or those sensitive to the sun- This is a very sunny area and very little shade (some of the benches are in shade and there are covered pic nic areas on both sides of the playground) if you head there in the summer the play sets definitely get quite hot to the touch.”

Dr. P.K. Vyas MD Community Park

Address: 401 S Elm St, Benson, NC 27504, USA

Park

“We've been trying to explore all the different parks within 15-20 minutes of Dunn and we hadn't been here yet. I would say it's a great park if you're going to have a birthday party or a sports events. There are 4 little grills, 8 picnic tables under two shaded awnings; all which is really nice. The playground equipment itself is just small and as we came here solely for that, my toddler got bored easily. We so appreciate the swings though as our closest park does not have them. There's a big field which is also home to a gazebo which is nice for a baseball game or something. Tl/Dr: nice park but too small playground”

“This campground is well maintained, clean, organized, relaxed, and friendly. During our brief stay, we availed ourselves of the pool, playground, mini golf course, showers, and launderette, while the dogs enjoyed the fenced-in dog area (there are three in total). The comfort station has multiple individual full bathrooms, giving a very homey feel to the facilities. Our family has traveled all around the country and this is a very nice place to stay. Thank you, Raleigh Oaks, for a wonderful stay!”

Raiford Street Park

“Super cool playground! There’s TWO of them!!! This park is in a residential area and has two full size playgrounds next to one another with a gazebo shelter in the middle, and large shade trees surrounding them. The bigger playground is super fun, has tons of different ways to climb up to the higher level, and different pathways to walk around on. There are SO many different things to climb on! No bathrooms here though, but really great playgrounds for your kids!”

“I don't know how this place has a 2.8 rating. Small quiet park. Fastest internet then any park we have ever been at. Staff is friendly. I don't see a single flaw here. Nothing it's a great place to stay. They also had a spot for us last minute. It's in a doordash area if you do doordash. Would stay again. Their is a train that goes by but that doesn't bug us. Laundry is only 1.75. One of the cheapest we have seen.”

Howell Woods Environmental Learning Center

Address: 6601 Devils Racetrack Rd, Four Oaks, NC 27524, USA

Park

“This place is a lot of fun for outdoor enthusiasts. There are miles of wooded and open trails to explore. We also really like the cabins they offer. We've stayed twice now, once for the Perseid Meteor Shower event they hosted and then once for the total lunar eclipse. The area gets really dark at night so we were able to see these events very clearly. We've also done the nighttime owl safari with them and it was the best one we've ever done. We found so many owls, it made me very happy! The area also has a bird exhibit, indoor classroom/nature room, and playground, great for kids The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this place.”

Tyler and his family are great people and make you feel at home the whole time. The cabin is always nice and never been with a guide that works as hard as Tyler. East Clayton Dog Park

Address: 2027 Glen Laurel Rd, Clayton, NC 27527, USA

Park

“Was in the area and googled for dog parks. This park came up. Grounds maintained nicely, landscaped greenery inviting. 1 fenced area for small dogs appeared a bit small. The fenced area for big dogs was great. Notice of leaking pipe so water off but a couple gallons of water and bowls was available. Would be nice if both benches were in shade on a hot hot muggy day...or a roof for shade.”

East Clayton Community Park

“Lovely park! Very beautiful and clean. We were there to visit the playground. My two year old had a blast! He loved all the various climbing equipment and the sand area. Even with a rather crowded amount of guest there was still plenty of space and stuff for all the kids. Great variety of play equipment for toddlers and up to preteen age. I highly recommend.”
