“You need to fire Bobbie(the 60+ year old lady) all she does is yell, and God forbid you try bringing a movie back that didn't have the DVD inside of it. Yelled at my husband saying there's nothing she could do unless he looked through all the movies to find that exact movie. Literally only yelling that at him, all the other customers in the store could hear her yelling, they were all shaking their heads and even seen a nice man worker was saying that wasnt right for her to do that. After me and him looked through the one big spot of movies we couldn't find it. So he had to go tell the woman and a different NICE worker woman helped us try to find it, but we couldn't so she told us to just get another movie with the same price. She also found a whole lot of movies that didn't have the DVD in it. She also yelled at an elderly woman for buying a carton of cigarettes WHICH the Bobbie woman scanned 10 packs of cigarettes which is more expensive than the carton, that woman also got a can of beans but she forgot them. And Bobbie said "well if these beans were important they'd come and get them." My mother took the bag out to the elderly woman and she said thank you this was my mother's day food. Fire Bobbie or you're going to lose a lot of customers. All the other workers are completely wonderful, but this woman is making people lose money and embarrassing them.”

“We heard about Shelton's through a family member and had 2 other quotes already coming in to remodel our kitchen. In the past one thing that has always been a source of frustration is working with people who do not communicate or don't follow through on their word. They give you a date and time, then when that time comes they aren't there, and you are left having to track them down. Then if you say something about it you are related to as being "too sensitive". It's very unprofessional and rampant with self-employed, "prideful" contractors. This is the exact opposite of the experience we had with Shelton's, and it is why we felt so comfortable and grateful working with them. Mark did what he said he would do and he communicated every step of the way. When a schedule change had to happen we knew in advance of the change as soon as he knew. No surprise changes. His crew was efficient and professional. They came to get their job done, they showed up, worked, got it done and left the job site well cared for. One cabinet installer did not vacuum up his drill shavings in the cabinets and drawers, and that was unfortunate considering leaving your site clean really polishes your work and makes the customer feel impressed. That being said it wasn't too big of a deal for us. Mark made recommendations for people to do our floor and for painters and we were very happy with both of those companies as well. Mark was utterly calm throughout the process which set us at ease. He didn't get impatient with us when we had questions. He simply answered us with kindness and patience. I am so thankful we went with them because remodels can be so frustrating for people (I hear), but that wasn't our experience. I can't say enough good things about this company and especially Mark. He runs his business with standards of customer care that are just not often seen in today's world.”

“Andriy responded and gave a quick and on the spot quote to do our kitchen tile backsplash. Was able to begin project quickly so that our kitchen cabinets install was not delayed. I told him the color of grout that I wanted to use and he kindly suggested a different color and thickness of grout that he stated would look softer and not compete with my new countertops. This saved the look of my kitchen!!! I am so happy that he suggested that, as most contractors just do whatever you ask. His suggestions TRULY saved the look of my kitchen. It now looks very elegant, classy and timeless. Their work is meticulous. Everyone that comes to our house comments on the quality of the tile work. We have had high end countertop and cabinet contractors come to our house and ask who did the tile work because the detail is so good. He even fixed the silicone around our sink that wasn't completed properly from the installer. They take care of your project as if it was for their own home!”

It's small right now but they're future is in a new building it's going to be amazing right now the meat department is out of this world I can't wait to see what it's going to look like in the new store. Best little grocery store in North Carolina. ( Part 2 ) Bi Rite is not the best little grocery store in North Carolina anymore. They are in a brand new building just around the corner. Bi Rite Galaxy 2.0 Seeing is believing. They have everything all the big store have, But the best part is the meat Dept is still the best, You can find meats from down East (Carolina) BASS FARM sausage you can find country ham from NC Mountain's. They are cutting meat everyday. The prices are still real good. It still worth a drive from Anywhere in the triad And Southern Virginia.”
