“It was my first time trying this place it today and I wasn't disappointed. The young woman running the front of the house gave excellent customer service with a smile. This place serves American and Greek grill fare. I'm a fan of Greek food so I tried their Gyro platter. The Gyro meat was the good rotisserie style slices versus the uniform shaped frozen stuff served at other competitors. Also the tzatziki sauce was fresh made and had an authentic zesty dill flavor to it. It came with a fresh chopped salad and crinkle cut fries. The entire meal was delicious and generously portioned. The rest of my party had chili dogs and a tuna melt. I asked how the tuna melt was and she said it was excellent and very tasty. I didn't ask how the chili dogs were because he was chowing down on them but they looked good with an ample amount of chili on top. We all had iced tea which was fresh brewed by the way. They also had some tasty looking desserts in the fridge up front but I'm cutting down on sugar so... I'll definitely come back with my wife and kids next time. If you're ever in the Stanley area on a weekday then you should plan to stop by.”

“I made it finely. 1/22/19 If what we experienced occurs daily there should be a line out the door at lunch time. Quaint, clean and cozy. Well staffed with kind smiles. Spot on food. Delicious start to finish. Sweet tea is perfect. Best biscuit I've ever had. Biggest biscuits I've ever seen! Really it was exceptionally good. Note the size of Johnny's biscuit compared to his hand. He has a delicious chicken casserole behind all that!”

“Great place to eat some really good chicken. I recommend the wing box with onion rings and fried okra. Enough food for two people for around 8 bucks. Workers here are always friendly and helpful. They also have really good ranch dressing. Parking is easy and they keep the place clean. Chicken strips are also excellent. Good French fries and hamburgers. “This location is probably the best when compared to Belmont and Gastonia locations. I like white rice. So, I do expect the rice to be cooked correctly. Their shrimp sauce is not watered down like the Belmont location. Honestly, the quality of their food depends on the day of the week and who is working. It is frustrating. we have always enjoyed a quick meal from Sake Express! It has gotten to the point that I am asking who is cooking before I order. Also, I stopped eating here on slow days.”

If you are dining in, I love that they give you a spice rack to add extra spice to your food if you want. Since I love spicy food, it was very nice to have that option.
