“Really an incredible meal. The entire experience was wonderful. The food was delicious. We had Flounder, Perch and a seafood platter. All perfectly prepared. The service was quick and the waitress was attentive and kept all our drinks full. She also brought plenty of hush puppies and tarter sauce. Damn that food was incredible. Could not find a single bad thing to comment on. Hell, even the fat cat outside by the pond was friendly! LOVED IT! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. They will certainly see us again the next time we are in town.”

“Your basic local hangout. Has Buffet breakfast or order off the menu. Comfort food. Friendly help. Omelette at $8 was good deal. Thin slice of salty ham at almost$5 not such a good deal. Salsa on omelette added .50 to bill, first time I was ever charged for salsa. Open for breakfast and lunch.”

“Love this place. It’s the brother to Casa Garcia that is in Denver I’m just so glad we don’t have to drive that far for amazing Mexican food at a great price! Amazing service and great staff. We went closer to closing time so our food came in five minutes or even less and it was an amazing cooked meal. The manager even made time to teach me a little Spanish! My new favorite go to place.”

“So Boss Hog changed management and/or ownership sometime in 2018. We’ve lived in Sherrills Ford about four years and had an entirely unsatisfactory experience at Boss before the change. What a difference! Don’t get me wrong. My observation of the old Boss was a very popular joint that, based on the look of the place-inside and out—was not appealing. I guess the BBQ was good, we didn’t think so, but it was a no frills place. The new Boss hasn’t changed in size or shape but it’s way more appealing in its appearance. It’s still a no frills BBQ joint but it doesn’t inspire apprehension walking in the door. By the way, the food is excellent; the Shrimp PoBoy is loaded with shrimp, the Pork and Chicken are top notch. Service is quick and friendly. Here’s to Boss Hog, fine dining it isn’t, fine food is absolutely is.”

“Swung through the drive thru to grab a quick snack and I was very pleased with the quality of food for a fast food place. The chicken sandwich was piping hot and ordered exactly the way I requested! It had been awhile that I had takeout because I was disappointed about cold food- old fries and stale soda! But this BK has quality and their food is hot and order is correct! The service was also a pleasurable experience- going to the window to see a smiling face is a good customer experience! I would go back if I’m in that area!”

“I had several people rave about the food and if you go on the weekend expect a wait. Well, when my wife and I went we both had the chicken. I agree it was good but not the best I have ever had. That being said I realize their specialty is stake and prime rib. The solid bar had a nice selection of topping as sides but the greens were a little old. Lastly the dessert was over the top. The next time I go I will have something more in line with what the are known for. All on all I recommend at least one visit. Enjoy”
