“The Montgomery Community Garden is a supportive group of garden members of all skill levels. There are monthly meetings to discuss issues and go over resolutions. We care about our pollinators and have a bee and butterfly garden to keep our pollinators happy. There are work projects to keep the grounds looking lovely. You can apply for a membership at the town clerk's office.”

“Great trails to walk, nice playground for kids, and an excellent picnic/beach area. I plan to spend many beautiful afternoons and evenings here throughout spring, summer, and fall. As far as I can tell, it also doesn't get very busy here, which I prefer. Highly recommend to families and nature-loving individuals.”

“Highly recommend staying here. It’s just 20 minutes away from the town of Beacon on the Hudson river and cold springs very awesome towns to check out. Lots of little stores and Quaint little Streets with restaurants and shops. Campgrounds are very wooded in private not many people use them by the looks of it.. they have electric sites but no hook ups far as water and sewer. They do have a dump station and a place to full you’re holding tank for freshwater. Bathrooms weren’t too bad just rustic but clean. Park ranger was very nice and friendly. Most the time you do not even make a reservation you pick your site and pay for it that day. Reservations are only on major holiday weekends. They rent boats and have a big lake to play and fish in..”

“Always a relaxing time when my family and I go. We take a week long mini vacation there for the past 3 years. Always clean and the rangers for the most part are very nice. You do get a few who don't have a people person attitude but those few you just have to smile and still be nice.”
