“Oceanside Grill might be the only boardwalk food stand that has an environmental mission: it serves sustainably sourced fish, avoids single-use plastic, and uses recycled paper products. The food is good, the kitchen is clean, and the folks are nice. Might not be the cheapest fast food ever, but it serves a previously empty stretch of Boardwalk, and it’s part of NY Aquarium and the Wildlife Conservation Society.”

“This shop has definitely set the bar high & is a GREAT representation of Coney Island & whats to come considering this island was once famously known as "The playground of the world" (history nerd). I knew i needed to bring back souvenirs/clothing for my wife and relatives, and i thought it would be an issue but luckily this was a one stop shop. The variety of souvenirs and clothing was endless, & with quality as well. Huge store, and i ended up getting my niece who's just 1 years old something, my nephews of 7 and 17, and my wife of course. I thought i would be stumped but they all loved their gifts and it was honestly the employee who helped me choose it all, so thank you for that. I highly recommend this shop & will be heading over to New York this summer and will stop by for some of the things i loved by did not end up getting or else i would have needed a second suitcase. My personal favorite were the t-shirts folded on the table by the register; Very soft and comfortable, which for some reason are hard to come by these days. Staff was kind and extremely helpful. Two thumbs up.”

“I had a so-so slice of pizza, my friend enjoyed her clams and beer, but the real reason to come here is the atmosphere. What could be better than sitting at a bar at Coney Island, looking out at the ocean and the people enjoying it? It also helps that the bartender was a great guy and there was a giant praying mantis walking along the bar.”

“Love this place, though it’s on the boardwalk mixed in with all the other no so great food choices, Tom’s is an exception! Their service match their food quality, both great! The space is great for groups or just two people, and it’s never too crowded. Pay them a visit.”
