“Surf City Hotel IS a hotel with updated rooms, reasonable prices, and had adjoining rooms for families. The line is very nice and has been updated, looks and feels great. The dogs is very good. The restrooms are beautiful and spacious. The Beach Room is a large room that can be used for a private event and is large enough for a wedding reception. They also have live music in the restaurant area and later bands in the Beach Room where you have PLENTY of room to dance! Only a few houses from Long Beach Island ocean. Go here!”

“This is my husband and I's go to spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We are both vegan so it's hard to find a restaurant that we can enjoy as there is usually meat and cheese in everything. Great selection of different protein, toppings, cheese and sauces. The prices are very reasonable and all the food were tasty. The server was attentive and pleasant. “Had breakfast there during a Nor'easter. Wasn't sure they would be open but they were. Staff outnumbered customers, which I understand is rare: usually have to wait here. Had an omelet for breakfast. It was good. Went back for dinner, with others. It was busier, we had to wait a few minutes for a table to be cleaned. Had the apple butternut squash soup, with sea scallops over rice. It was good.”

“Great little store with homemade ice. They change the flavors every day the staff is friendly and the service is fairly quick. It is a busy place so expect to wait a few minutes before being served. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is the price. It is fairly expensive but I guess that is to be expected on Long Beach Island.”

“Had to stop for a quick lunch before we left LBI. The food was so fresh. I had the Crab cake sandwich and it was very flavorful. I wish it was a little bigger. My son has the shark bites, which he loved but we didn't get them with the BBQ sauce they come in and they were a bit dry when I tasted. I would recommend getting them how it's listed on the menu. My husband had clams and absolutely loved them and how fresh they were. Everything came out pretty quickly and everyone was extremely friendly. Great spot!”
